Membership Information

You can be a part of the Western Railway Museum by joining the Bay Area Electric Railroad Association!

Membership dues help preserve and restore the thousands of priceless artifacts in the Museum’s collection, from streetcars and interurbans to photographs and documents to the historic Sacramento Northern railway right-of-way itself.

All memberships are good for one year and include receipt of our membership publication The Review, free admission to the Western Railway Museum and to many other railway museums throughout the US and Canada, and invitations to special “members only” events.

Junior/Senior: $25

A non-voting membership available to US residents under 18 or over 65. Includes a 5% discount on all Museum Store purchases of $10 or more.

Members (Voting)

Individual: $50
Family: $70*
Sustaining: $100*
Contributing: $250*
Patron: $500*
Benefactor: $1000*

Voting memberships available to anyone. Includes a 10% discount on all Museum Store purchases of $10 or more, and special discounts on Archive Department Services.
