We are now working closely with a shipping company to bring the 502 to the museum. Meanwhile, our volunteers removed loose parts stored inside the car to prepare it for its journey to the Museum. We hope to see San Diego Electric 502 at the museum by the end of 2020. Our shop crew will stabilize and assess the condition of car 502 and ready it for display in our car barn along with it's own plaque that will tell the story of the West’s first PCC car.
