After months of sitting the museum's collection is slowly being cycled through the shop for their routine maintenance. Pictured above Peter Hinckley services the brake cylinder on Melbourne car 648.
Work also continues on the museum’s signal garden. One of our youngest volunteers Cristian Cuadra removes old failing paint off a lower quadrant wig-wag. The Museum has set up a GoFundMe to raise money for building the signal garden.

Lastly, shop volunteers brought the newly acquired San Diego Electric PCC into the shop to get a closer look at all of the equipment underneath the car. We are happy to report that it all looks to be intact and is in very reasonable condition. We are currently looking for a interested volunteers who are willing to help rebuild part of the car that was heavily damaged from a fire before being owned by the museum.
